Reason for this device
With over 30 years of impacting treatment modalities that address complex coronary and peripheral vascular disease, I believe that easier access to the disease segment will improve the outcome, will decrease the overall procedural risk, will shorten the procedure duration, and will simplify the procedure.
Antegrade Sheath Placement:
-
When theAorta-Iliac bifurcation is hostile
-
When patients have undergone previous surgical procedures
-
When the severely calcified occluded segments in the outlow systems, and below the knee, need direct and close insertion of devices (better “pushability“)
-
When pedal approach is not an option
-
When radial access is not an option
-
When contralateral approach is unsuccessful
